I’m always on the look out for blogs to trawl through; archives to search for the best of posts…
Any suggestions?

I tried to be clear (though who knows if I pulled it off) that the player is still around; he just changed characters.
The view held by this character that the cell was too trigger happy had been building for a while (and he, as representative of the PC, had been offered leadership of magic cult). The straw that broke things was when the most militant member kill a banker on sight just because he was a bear in a top hat (don’t ask). When the post facto investigation revealed that the banker was a good man who never hurt anyone and raised money for charity it was too much. So PC#1 goes back to the cult saying “sure I’ll be your moral center” and his player started to design a character that would better fit where the group and advance another character’s journey [by being the long lost daughter mentioned above].
That other character of course being the ultra-militant PC#2 whose player of course came to me to say that his character was maybe too militant and should perhaps suffer the consequences for killing a pillar of the community on the sidewalk in front of a Starbucks at mid-morning ursine though he be [hence the mention of jail above; the only downside of which is how quickly the incarceration occurred].

Alright a question for all you illustrators out there:
I use Gimp for all of my digital draughtsmanship because A) it’s free and B) it’s what I learned on (because it was what I learned on).
I’ve been experimenting, a little, with colour because I really want something that looks like watercolours.
Does anyone know of any method or plug-in that would help?

Given the success of the last vote I did, the two pictures I drew based on it were better than anything else I did that week, I’ve decided to have decided to do another.
So which of these references should I use for my next sketch?
P.S. Should I add the ‘drawing’ tag to this?
EDIT: I finally drew something. -
When I see a photo that I think I would like to use as a reference for a drawing I save a copy on my harddrive.
But given my general level of laziness I’ve accumulated references faster than I’ve used them. So to try to spur myself on I thought I’d ask you:
Which one should I use next?
Edit: I’ve drawn pictures based on reference one and two, note the circles, and based on the success I will likely do this type of vote thing again.

Do you think I should tag my drawings with the name of the model in the reference photo?
I ask with a picture for which I don’t know the model’s name.
OQM?

I’m taking suggestions/submissions/what have you for people/pictures for me to practice drawing.
Obligatory question mark?
